| More stitches than I know what to do with! |

I got the 365 Stitches a Yar book today and I love it! I am using the basket weave 1 pattern for an afghan square for Karen. It is lookng really great.
I finally got the new IK today. I haven't been able to find it. Lots of great stuff.

| Working on Afghan squares |

I joined the Afghans for Us group and I am busy working on my squares for my partner! I finished one using Fantasy Natural, using the multicolored yarn. It is so fun. I am doing a second square using some white yarn (no idea where I got it) and some fun fur. It is going to be a fuzzy, fun mess. I'm hoping to finish it tonight (assuming I don't get side tracked!) and post pics tonight or tomorrow.
I started on my socks and I have started over a couple of times. I am working on the ribbing part. The yarn is really fun.

Hooray!! This is so fun!
I got an email from my SP saying a package was on the way on Friday, so I have been anxiously awaiting it since Friday. I thought it would be delivered to my door, but I went by the mail box today (we live in an apt) on the way to preschool this morning. I HAD A PACKAGE!! Inside was 2 skeins of Plymouth Italian Collection of Sockotta in fun colors, the book Socks Soar on Two Circular Needles, and some adorable sock point protectors and a nice note on a cute cute card! I love it all!

It was such a great treat on the way to teach this morning! I was thinking about it all day!

| No Sweat Pants |

I've been working on IK's No Sweat Pants this weekend. I am not a fan of the homespun yarn. It is going to be super comfy, but the yarn pulls so you get bunches of yarn. The gauge was dead on, but now the measurement is off by 1/2 an inch. I am figuring it should be ok because they are supposed to be big and I am a little wary of the measurments anyway. They should be fab for knitting around the house!
