My first sock!

Strike up the band! I FINISHED MY FIRST SOCK!!! Hooray!!

It is of course not perfect, but I am really happy with it. I am sure the next ones I make will go a lot smoother. I think I messed up the stitch count and my ribbing got off near the toe, but no one is going to see it! I have been wearing it around the apartment - eventually I will have a pair!

Kudos to you! If I ever attempted anything like that, the police would find me weeks later, caught like a fly in a spiderweb of yarn.

The sock looks great! I want to do socks too but have not tried yet.
Which sock pattern did you use?

I used the simple sock pattern from Cat Bordi's book. I didn't make the top of the sock as long as she said to because I wanted some anklets for my dance shoes.
